Hi, I’m Alex Watts. I am owner/operator of Florida Tankless Care!
Prolongs Lifespan: A clean unit typically lasts 20 to 25 years, whereas scale buildup can destroy heat exchangers and force an early replacement.
Warranty Compliance: Most manufacturers explicitly require annual flushing in hard water areas to keep your manufacturer’s warranty valid.
Protects Flow Rate: Scale buildup narrows the internal diameter of your heating pipes, leading to a drop in hot water pressure, longer wait time, and lukewarm temperatures over time.

What do You Get when You Hire Florida Tankless Care?
When you hire Florida Tankless Care to descale your Tankless Water Heater I will show up at the appointed time. I bring all materials needed to perform maintenance which begins with a one-hour descaling flush in which I cycle distilled white vinegar through your unit. This dissolves the built-up limescale into solution, removing it from the internal lining of your heating chambers. I open your unit and perform a visual inspection of the internal components, I clear out any animal debris, and let you know if a component appears worn. I check your gas line with a combustible gas meter as an added safety measure. I will also pull out the sediment screen filter which is located on the incoming water line and clean it or replace it. I only turn off your hot water for this hour so your cold water shall be uninterrupted. I discard the used vinegar solution on site, rinse your Tankless Water Heater with fresh water, and restore it back to operation. I then provide you with an invoice for service which includes a quick report on the status of your unit. Then in about a year I’ll text you to schedule your next service.
Tankless Water Heaters are great machines! Endless Hot water, low cost & lower carbon footprint, but they require annual descaling. Many homeowners simply aren’t aware that these things need an annual descaling service, otherwise they build up limescale on the inside leading to poor performance, voiding your warranty, and eventually ruining the unit. Contact Florida Tankless Care to descale your Tankless Water Heater for you at low cost, high trust, and peace of mind!
Your home’s water is sourced from the Floridan Aquifer deep underground, sandwiched within limestone rock. The limestone leaches minerals like calcium & magnesium into the water which then runs through your Tankless Water Heater where the minerals stick to the inside walls of the heating chamber. Without periodically removing this limescale, your Tankless Water Heater is prone to reduced efficiency & premature failure, which will cost thousands to replace. Yes, having a Water Softening System does help to reduce limescale buildup, but it does not eliminate it. Save your wallet by getting the most out of your unit with annual maintenance, extending its service life, increasing efficiency, and saving your wallet!
Florida Tankless Care is not a licensed plumber and does not install or change out units or parts. Licensing is limited to only the service of descaling your Tankless Water Heater.

Real responses from customers:
My hot water works so much better now! With De-Scaling your Hot Water comes through faster due to better efficiency within your Heater.
My energy bill is noticeably lower! With better efficiency comes lower energy usage. Win-win!
Do I need this every year? From my experience, a family of 4 needs it every year. Your Tankless only builds limescale while it’s operating, so if you use less hot water you may de-scale less often. However, I always recommend an Annual De-Descaling to protect your Tankless, protect your warranty, and keep it running efficiently!
